Who we are

Lucia Arbery Simek  is a writer, curator, and artist with a commitment to fostering the creative growth of artists, organizations, and communities. She is the former executive director of Dallas Contemporary, where she spearheaded major performance and emerging talent programs, and recently curated Pam Evelyn: Salvaged Futures. She also led communications and international programs at the Nasher Sculpture Center, growing the museum’s global reputation by creating programming partnerships with institutions around the world. At Dallas’s landmark Adolphus Hotel, she curated a series of lauded salon conversations, integrating contemporary art, architecture, and literature into a hospitality setting. She’s written on art for Ursula, Flash Art, D and others.

Gavin Morrison is a writer, curator, and publisher. His work engages with historical and contemporary art, architecture, and literary research. He is the former director of Skaftfell Center for Visual Art  in Iceland, and has held research roles with institutions including Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm, Sweden; Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, USA; and Lewis Walpole Library, Yale University, USA. Recent curatorial projects include: Roman Signer: Icelandic Works, Skaftfell, 2026; The Architecture of Place: Donald Judd & Hörður Ágústsson, National Gallery of Iceland, 2026; and Jóhann Eyfells: Cairns, Nasher Sculpture Center, Dallas, 2025.
